Sometimes you know you want to change your country of residence or your way of life, but have no clear idea where to go.
The world is vast.
Europe, Latin America, Asia, North America, Africa, Oceania and island nations offer many very different directions. Without specific preferences, studying every country individually is almost impossible.
Global astrocartography is designed for exactly this situation.
It is a substantial personal study covering every country in the world, from the largest states to small island nations.
Its purpose is to create your personal geographical map of the world and show:
where to look first, which directions may bring out your chart's potential, and which call for greater care.
How the analysis is structured
All countries are organised into 12 main geographical groups according to the sign of the relocated Ascendant.
The analysis goes further.
Within each Ascendant group, countries are also divided by nakshatra. Nakshatras provide a finer layer of differentiation within each sign, a kind of “sub-sign” whose individual energies influence the environment. Depending on the Ascendant's position, a group can contain up to three such subgroups.
This makes it possible to distinguish more precisely between territories that share the same Ascendant sign at the first level but fall under different nakshatras.
While the Ascendant sign indicates the overall structure and central life scenario of a place, the nakshatra adds a further level of detail: the character of the surroundings, their inner rhythm, the way events unfold and the qualities you encounter more often there.
Two countries within the same Ascendant group can therefore feel and unfold very differently.
First, we see the chart's broad geography: 12 main directions. We then zoom in and examine the differences within each through the nakshatras.
The result is more than a division of the world into 12 large zones. It is a more detailed personal system for understanding the characteristics of individual countries and directions.
Key areas considered for each group
Professional fulfilment
How professional fulfilment may change between geographical groups: which abilities emerge more easily, where recognition may come more naturally, and where you may build a career, develop a business or find a new professional role.
The analysis explores both a place's overall potential and the specific type of work that may feel most natural and promising there.
Finances and potential sources of income
How the financial scenario changes in each Ascendant group: the extent to which the environment supports financial stability, income growth, entrepreneurship, savings and building your own financial foundation.
Potential sources of income that may develop most naturally in the countries of each group are considered separately.
Depending on your individual chart, these might include employment, your own business, management, trade, intellectual work, creative work, consulting, education, working with people from other countries, property, remote projects or other activities.
The analysis therefore addresses not only:
“How favourable is this group of countries for my finances?”
but also the more practical question:
“Which activities may make it easier to realise my financial potential here?”
Relationships
How social life, meaningful encounters, partnerships, marriage and family life may unfold.
Inner wellbeing and resources
Whether the environment supports a sense of stability, energy and inner comfort, or increases tension and calls for greater inner effort.
Home and property
The potential to put down roots, create your own space, buy property and feel: “This is my home.”
From a broad direction to a specific country
The layered structure of the analysis helps narrow your geographical search step by step.
First level — the Ascendant: the overall structure of a large group of countries.
Second level — the nakshatra: the character of the environment, distinguishing countries within a single Ascendant group.
Third level — individual geographical points: places of strength, weakness, inner tension and other distinctive zones in the chart.
A country is therefore considered as part of your overall personal geography, from a broad direction down to the finer characteristics of a specific territory.
Three categories of countries
After the overall analysis, countries are grouped by their astrological favourability.
First category
The most promising and supportive directions.
These territories may provide a more favourable setting for important chart indicators to unfold, supporting several key areas of life at once.
Second category
Mixed or specialised directions.
These may suit particular goals, such as work, business, study, relationships or a temporary life stage, while also presenting significant limitations in other areas.
Third category
More challenging territories for long-term residence.
In these places, difficult chart indicators may become stronger, inner and outer pressures may increase, or achieving stability may require significantly more resources.
This does not mean you “cannot” live in or visit a country in a particular category. The aim is to show the nature of your interaction with a place, its potential opportunities and limitations, and the possible demands of adapting to it.
Distinctive geographical points
Alongside the 12 main groups and the overall classification of countries, the chart highlights individual territories with a more pronounced personal influence.
Places of strength and places where resources diminish
In addition to grouping countries, the study identifies specific geographical zones where particular birth chart indicators may manifest especially intensely.
Places of strength and renewal
Territories where certain possibilities in the birth chart receive additional support.
Such places may help develop potential, restore inner resources, support growth and allow more natural progress in significant areas of life.
Places of weakness
Environments where the chart's overall resources may diminish and challenging indicators become more noticeable.
It may be harder to maintain your usual energy and stability here. Wellbeing, emotional balance and the ability to cope with pressure may need particular attention.
These territories can become settings for important life lessons and call for a more conscious relationship with your own resources.
Places of inner conflict and tension
Environments where a pronounced conflict may arise between your inner wishes and external circumstances.
What you want does not always match what the surrounding reality asks of you. You may feel pulled in different directions: the mind suggests one thing, feelings another, while circumstances push you towards a third.
These places can bring powerful experiences and growth, but maintaining inner balance usually requires considerably more energy.
Places without an anchor
These are distinctive points associated with transitional zones between different energetic principles of the chart.
They may heighten a sense of impermanence: you live, work and develop, yet a lasting sense of settlement and deep rootedness is difficult to establish.
At the same time, such places can be important for inner transformation. Unresolved themes from the past emerge, familiar reference points shift, and circumstances prompt a search for new sources of stability.
They may therefore matter greatly during a particular stage of life without necessarily becoming a place where you want to put down long-term roots.
Who this analysis is for
This service is especially useful for two groups of people.
If you want to move but do not yet know where
You want to change your country of residence, but do not know which direction to consider: Europe, the Americas, Asia, island nations or somewhere entirely different.
Global astrocartography first reveals the overall geography of your chart, identifies the most promising directions and then helps narrow the search.
If travel is an important part of your life
The analysis also suits people who travel frequently, live between several countries, work remotely, spend extended periods abroad or simply want to understand how different parts of the world interact with their chart.
In this case, the work becomes a personal astrological atlas you can return to over many years.
How this differs from an analysis of up to 5 locations
The two services have fundamentally different purposes.
Astrocartography for up to 5 locations examines places you have already selected in depth. Each country, region or city is explored closely, with attention to nuance and specific areas of life.
Global astrocartography provides an overview of the world's countries. It shows the broad geographical structure of your chart: the most supportive directions, territories suited to particular goals and places that may be more challenging.
The global analysis therefore does not examine every individual country at the same depth as the study of five specific locations.
Instead, it answers a broader question:
“Which part of the world should I be looking towards in the first place?”
If the global analysis leaves you choosing between, for example, three specific countries or cities, these can then be explored separately through an in-depth astrocartography consultation.
